It's that time of year for good food, great friends, and lots of fun on the Yough River - it's the Hoosier Canoe and Kayak Club's Annual Rock the Yough!

This will be a trip you won't want to miss - especially the Saturday night pitch in dinner with live music from the infamous Bob (Big Drop) Heckler (an HCKC legend and all-around great guy)! The main course protein will be provided (Steve will be cooking up various meat on the smoker again along with Sonja's homemade BBQ sauce, jalapeƱo poppers, and pickles), and we ask for everyone to pitch in either a side dish or a dessert. There will be a donation jar to cover costs of the main course and consumables (plates, napkins, flatware, etc.). All other meals (breakfasts, lunches, and Friday dinner) are to be self-provided.

We will be staying at Paddler's Lane again this year. Do not call the campground for reservations, as we have a large area already reserved for the HCKC. Camping will be $10 per person per night. Upon arrival to the campground, cash payment should be paid to Sonja or Steve Mahon directly, NOT to the campground. We are taking care of all accommodation coordination with the campground to make things easier on everyone. ***Please send a private message with how many nights you plan to stay and how many people will be with you so we can get an accurate count for camping and food.***

The campground does not allow firewood to be brought in from outside. There are bundles in front of the bathhouse that can be purchased. (This WOULD be paid directly to the campground.)

There is a bathhouse with hot showers, and a utility sink for washing dishes.

We would like to have a morning meeting between 8:30-9am on Saturday to talk about dinner and coordinate river and non-river trips.

if you have any questions please contact Steve Mahon-484-577-0439.  We are very excited for this event and can't wait to see everyone.  There are many things to do here besides white water!
