TRIP CHANGED FROM FALL CREEK TO WHITE RIVER

Trip: White River (Waverly to Henderson Ford)

Date: Saturday, June 27

Time: 10 am

In order to avoid a large tree across Fall Creek and a possible portage with a large group, the Fall Creek trip has been moved to White River from Old Town Waverly Park to Henderson Ford Bridge.  This approximately 9 mile paddle is mostly protected from the wind and usually offers a good flow so we can enjoy a 2 hour easy paddle.  We meet at 10:00 am and we will shuttle at 10:30.  There is a fairly new boat ramp located in the Waverly Town Park located just south of SR 144 (just West of the SR 37 intersection).  

Plan to bring water, lunch, and sunscreen in addition to your usual paddling gear.

If you have not done so for this year, PLEASE FILL OUT THE NEW E-WAIVER.   HCKC is moving to a new electronic waiver system instead of our old paper waiver.  This only needs to be completed once each year.  If you have already submitted your e-waiver, you do not need to do it again until next year.  If you are bringing a non-member guest, they should use this e-waiver.
