Saturday June 29 Paddle from Rising Sun Indiana to Aurora Indiana

The decision to paddle out and back vs running a shuttle will depend on current, weather and paddler’s preference. We will meet at Rising Sun Municipal Boat Ramp at 9:30am and plan to launch at 10:00am.

The Hillforest Victorian House Museum is in Aurora. It is a stately 1855 Italian Renaissance mansion designated a National Historic Landmark. Tours are available 1-5pm for $10.00 and would be an option for Saturday afternoon.

Level 2 and above Seakayak Trips are limited to members who have demonstrated, prior to participation, the ability to:

·       Safely exit their kayak while wearing a spray skirt

·       Participate in an assisted rescue to re-enter their kayak

Registration for every trip is always conditional upon final approval by the Trip Leader. The Trip Leader may communicate with you to assess whether your skills & equipment are appropriate for the conditions.
