Paddle fishing
at Eagle Creek Reservoir
This is one of DNR's free fishing days. The purpose of this event is to promote Paddle fishing as a separate discipline in the club to be a relaxed family orientated adventure. Speaking of which I would like to discuss not only Paddle fishing, but other things we could do on the water that are not just paddling from "A" to "B" . This could be about anything, like geocaching, photography, paddling with pets, gold prospecting, bird watching etc. We will meet at the pavillion west of the ramp at 10:00am and discuss basic fishing and fishing from an canoe or kayak. Level of talk will be determined by the attendees from equipment to boats. I'm not an expert in anything, I'm 66 years old and grew up on the water rowing and old aluminum boat and fishing early on. So I have a lot of experiences I can share. We will then launch our boats and try our luck at catching a few finned critters. Anyone wanting to help with this please let me know. I'll have a couple of extra Dagger rec boats if you you need one. We will meet at the pavillion west of the dandy trail boat launch. This is the parking lot north of Rick's Boatyard restaurant. the address of the ramp is 4185 Dandy Trail, Indianapolis, IN 46254 For additionalional info please email me @ john2sea56@gmail.com.
