Paddle the New River Gorge, Cunard to Fayette Station section. We will stop for a break to eat lunch on the river and hopefully watch some carnage. We will also have an opportunity to stop at some surf spots and a jump rock or two.
Saturday evening, we will go out to eat at a local restaurant.
There’s also usually live music at the campground on Saturday evenings when the weather is nice.
Sunday: Tear down camp early. Morning meeting to discuss the shuttle plan; we will set a “reverse” shuttle and leave vehicles at the Fayette Station take-out then head to the Cunard put-in with all of the boats, people, and gear.
Paddle the New River Gorge, Cunard to Fayette Station section. We won’t spend as much time on the river today so that we can finish up and get on the road a bit more quickly.
You will be able to leave your vehicle at the campground until we get off the River if necessary.
