Clear Creek is a beautiful stream located on the Cumberland Plateau. One typically encounters good water quality and a remote feel. This will be a weather dependent trip for the April 1-2 weekend. We will consider sections between Barnett, Jett, Lilly and Nemo bridges, depending on the interest and ability of the group, weather forecast and the amount of water in the river. These are progressively more difficult sections as you go down stream, rapids are typically class II-III+, depending on volume in the river. Camping will most likely be at Frozen Head State Park near Wartburg, TN. Descriptions can be found on the AW site as follows. The sponsor can be contacted at three17 two 98 nine O forty8.
