Cincy Paddlers Annual Spring Swap Meet

  • April 22, 2017
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Loveland Canoe and Kayak, 174 Karl Brown Way, Loveland, OH 45140

Start searching through your kayak, canoe and other outdoor gear and dust off that kayak or canoe you aren’t using as its getting close to the annual Cincinnati Paddlers Spring Swap Meet.  Once again, Mark Bersani, owner of Loveland Canoe and Kayak, will let us use his facility for the swap meet.  If you haven’t been here before, Mark’s livery is located right on the Little Miami River next to the railroad trestle in downtown Loveland.  The close proximity to the water allows you to try a kayak before you buy it.

Date: Saturday April 22nd (rain date Saturday April 29th)

Be sure to come early for the biggest selection and stay late for some last minute deals.  You can bring kayaks, canoes and other hand powered watercraft – sorry no boats.  You can also bring any other gear related to outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, skiing, etc.

Most sellers require cash so bring at least enough to place a hold a kayak or canoe.  Bills of sale will be provided or you can download from the Cincy Paddlers web site.

If you haven’t been to Mark’s in the past year, the city of Loveland has paved over the parking area.  So we don’t run afoul of any Loveland codes regarding private sales on public property, all items for sale must be placed on Mark’s property. You can park in the main lot – just place all sale items in the designated location.  I will be there by 9 am to direct sellers where to set up.

Unlike the winter swap meet no tables are provided so bring tables, chairs, blankets – whatever you need to display your items.

Make sure you tag your items with your name and phone number in case you are away from your items.

And as always there is no charge for selling or attending.

If this is your first sale, feel free to ask questions during the sale.  We are a group whose mission is to promote paddle sports in a positive manner so we are all here to help.
